Welcome to Divine Mercy Catholic School

     My name is Janet Brown.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Mankato State University. (Go Mavericks!) Upon graduation from college, I was a substitute teacher for one year and then accepted a teaching position at Consolidated Catholic School, now known as Divine Mercy Catholic School.  I found a wonderful home and have been part of the Divine Mercy Catholic School family for the past 25 years. In those 25 years, I have inspired the lives of many students in kindergarten through second grade.  Those children, in turn, also hold a special place in my heart! I am excited to share my love of learning with the students I teach!  I look forward to another wonderful year and welcoming another group of God's children into my heart!

     My husband, Tim, and I have four children.  Our two daughters attend college at Minnesota State University-Mankato (Go Mavericks, again!) and University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. (Go Gophers!)  Our twin sons attend Bethlehem Academy. (Go Cardinals!)  

     I love to read, go for walks, listen to music, watch movies, and attend my children's sporting events!
